New Food Spots Are Coming!

New food spots are coming soon! I am so excited to share my recently found news with you!

A new restaurant Parker Steaks and Scotch will opening in Trumbull this spring, and a Five Guys Burgers and Fries is coming soon to Shelton!

Smiling from ear to ear yet? Maybe you’re clapping your hands or you’ve done the single hand-in-a-clenched-fist-with-arm-bent-at-the-elbow hand motion as you said YES!! (Whew, that one is hard to describe.) It’s ok, you can high five the person closest to you.

Why is this so exciting? Well, Trumbull is notorius for having very few restaurants, so another food spot is always a welcome addition, and Five Guys Burgers, well is Five Guys – burgers, hotdogs, and fries (oh, their fries!).

Scheduled to open in May in the former location of Dunkin’ Donuts in Trumbull Center on White Plains Road, Parker Steaks and Scotch will have an extensive scotch selection and  an outdoor patio seating area.

Even more importantly, the new Parker Steaks and Scotch is going to be opened by the owner of Parker Eatery and Bar in Stratford, Patrick Fahy, as the Trumbull Patch reports. Parker Eatery and Bar is one of our favorite places to dine, so if Parker Steaks and Scotch is anything like Parker Eatery and Bar we can all expect a great dining experience.

Five Guys Burgers is tucked behind Ruby Tuesdays at  819 Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton. Back in August when the Valley Sentinel reported Five Guys Burgers was coming soon, the building was still under construction. However, when I drove past a few days ago the sign is up and the inside looks like it is close to being completed!
