The Milford Harbor Duck Race is today! Events begin at 11am and the ducks race at 2pm. What is the duck race? Buy a numbered duck to be entered into the race (ticket sales are until 1:30 today). Thousands of ducks race each year in the Wepawaug River across the street from Stonebridge Restaurant and SBC Milford. Winners of the race are eligible for one of 95 exciting prizes (and you do not have to be present to win). The Milford Duck Race is a charitable event and proceeds benefit St. Gabriel School of Milford.
There are plenty of activities for the kids: live demos by Crossfit Milford Kids, face painting, giant inflatable slides and bounce house, touch a truck and live music including Tom Weber’s Children’s music and Mariachi Emperadores de Puebla to celebrate Cinco de Mayo too.
Don’t forget the food vendors for the foodies: Bridge House, Joey C’s, Bella Napoli, Rita’s, Olde Fashioned Kettle Corn, and the Milford Elks will be here today.
