Get ready Connecticut, it’s time for the Soup-er Bowl!
Chowdafest is here!
WHAT: Chowdafest is a pre-Super Bowl soup and chowder competition event and all proceeds benefit the Connecticut Food Bank. For the price of a ticket you get to be the judge and cast your votes for your favorite soups and chowders.
WHEN: Feb. 2, from 11am to 3pm
WHERE: Webster Bank Arena at Harbor Yard off exit 27 on I-95 in Bridgeport.
WHAT’S NEW This Year:
• New Craft Beer & Wine Tastings (Must be of legal age of course and get your ID bracelet BEFORE you enter the arena.)
• Cooking Demostrations by Celebrity chefs Scotti, Plum, Zampa and Pasternack on the new Sub Zero/Wolf cooking stage!
• Hunter will visit the Kid’s Cove area where he’ll autograph chef hats that are given FREE to kids.
• 15 NEW restaurants to Chowdafest’s line-up!
Cooking demonstrations are approximately 20 minutes long and are scheduled on the hour. Each chef’s creations will be able to be sampled after the demonstration.
