For all you romantics out there Valentine’s Day is almost here and I know that means you’re looking for a way to do something special for your valentine.

How does oysters, caviar, a signature cocktail, and more sound?

Parallel Post, a modern-American restaurant focused on seasonal and regional cuisine based in the Trumbull Marriott and overseen by James Beard nominated Chef Dean James Max, is offering a Valentine’s Day pre-fixe menu perfect for all you romantics!

The Signature Cocktail
A perfect blend of ancient Sorrel, saffron and ginger cooked with spring water and steeped overnight. Strained after 24 hours and strengthened with over proof rum and tamarind syrup, The Puppy Love cocktail will be served in 10 oz. woozie bottles and individually labeled and numbered.

Parallel Post’s Valentine’s Day menu offers five courses for $65 per person or $90 per person with wine pairing from 5-10pm.

Sunchoke Bisque with Eggplant Caviar

Sourdough Crusted Halibut with Beet Gnocchi, Roasted Salsify and Meyer Lemon Escabeche

Grilled Beef Tenderloin with Sweet Potato Souffle, Braised Mushrooms and Spring Garlic Cabernet Sauce

Fifth Course

Chocolate Cake with Strawberry Cream and Pistachio Crumbs
